The following is a full list of all of the narrow boats in the OwnerShips scheme (not the wide beam Dutch barges). If there is a share for sale on any of them, this is indicated in the 'Shares Available' column. You may then click on "yes" in that column for specific details.
If you are tied to school holidays click here for an explanation of our 'Special Status' shares. Availability of these shares is indicated in the far right column below. Shares holding 'Special Status' have guaranteed school holiday bookings every year in return for an extra 25% towards the annual running costs. This status may be applied for or relinquished at any time.
If you click on the name of any particular boat, you will see a picture of it (or, at least, one that is very similar). If you click on the name of a marina, you will be taken to details of its address and how to get there by road.
Note: Prospective owners pondering on how easy it is to get out of the scheme once they are in it may be reassured by the fact that OwnerShips places as much emphasis on helping you to leave the scheme as it does in helping you to join.
Year on year, OwnerShips sells more pre-owned shares than new ones, whilst still growing in size overall. In 2003, 195 shares were sold to new owners joining the scheme, of which 115 were sold on behalf of existing owners, whilst 80 were sold on new boats. In the case of pre-owned shares, the vendor decides on the price - with advice from OwnerShips if requested. The average time taken to sell a share is around three months, although most tend to be sold in the first quarter of each year, particularly at The Annual OwnerShips Show that is staged over the first weekend of February.

Finally, it may be worth noting that any owner of any narrow boat in the OwnerShips scheme can use any other boat that is otherwise not in use, in return for a contribution into that boat’s "sinking fund".

Notes:
1. Ownership of a share is for life or for as short a period as required, where each one twelfth share provides its owner with typically 3 to 6 weeks' holiday per year.
2. Boats whose names do not begin with "O" or "S" (prior to 2000) have been "bought in" and are not therefore purpose built to OwnerShips' specification. (This also applies to OASIS TOO which is a newly commissioned boat built for an existing group of owners to their own specification.)
3. Share prices advertised on existing boats are dictated entirely by their owners, where much of the apparent depreciation is due to the gradual enhancements made to the initial specification of each boat according to customer demand. i.e. the purchase prices of earlier boats was less than later boats.
