Although, at first sight "shared ownership" simply looks like a form
of floating "timeshare", the scheme is actually run along the lines of
a private boating club within which each member actually owns a stake in
their boat, for life - or for as short a time as they decide. All the while
they own their share, they can use their boat on the canals and rivers
of Europe according to a booking and exchange system administered by OwnerShips
- including a unique "cash-back" facility for maximum
flexibility. Whilst afloat, they have access to a "help line" seven days
per week for advice and assistance, and OwnerShips’ technical and management
services look after each boat’s security, upkeep, and regular maintenance,
along with all of the finances involved.
